*Do I need an appointment to try on gowns?
We always appreciate advance appointments as this allows us to reserve a fitting room and have staff available for you. Saturday's are very busy so an appointment is required. Call at least a week in advance for the best times.
* What gowns do you have in the store?
We have over 300 sample gowns in stock from the lines that we carry. These gowns cover every style imaginable, from sleek sheaths to elegant ball gowns.
*How long does it take to order a gown?
We recommend ordering your gown at least 6 months before your wedding. It takes 12 to 16 weeks to get a gown (each designer has a different shipping time). And you will need time for tailoring.
*Can I get a gown sooner than 3 to 4 months?
Most manufacturers offer a Rush Shipping. There is an additional charge for this service.
Also, Kay's Bridal has access to the "hanging" inventory for Maggie Sottero and Mori Lee. If the gown is in the warehouse, we can get it in a week to 10 days. There is no additional charge for this service.
*What price range are the bridal gowns at Kay's Bridal?
Most of our gowns are in the moderate price range, with between $600 to $1200. We have a few under the $600 and a few up to $1500.
We also have a nice selection of discontinued gowns at half price.
*Do you sell gowns on-line?
Our on-line Outlet Store will be open soon.
* Will you do alterations on gowns not purchased from Kay's Bridal?
Yes, we will gladly do alterations on Bridal, Bridesmaids, and Mother's gowns. Please note you will need to call for an appointment at least 8 weeks before your event.
* Do you have bridesmaid gowns and what is their price range?
We carry bridesmaid gowns from Mori Lee, Bill Levkoff (see Collections). In addition we will be getting Wtoo Bridesmaid gowns in January 2010. These range from $129 to $199. Bridesmaid gowns take 10 to 12 weeks to receive.
Please note, that we always offer a 10% cash discount on bridesmaid gowns. Call store for details.
