Get ready for our reopening!
COVID19 Shopping Guidelines
The “NEW NORMAL”
**We are excited to be back in business and continue to assist brides in finding the gown of their dreams. We are approaching our world of the “NEW NORMAL” with an abundance of caution to keep both our customers and staff safe and healthy. This “NEW NORMAL” will be different from bridal shopping just a few weeks ago. Brides shopping now will have the unique opportunity to shop in a more private setting thus we can ensure that every bride will continue to have a healthy and exciting shopping experience at Kay's Bridal.
The following protocols will be strictly followed by Kay’s Bridal
until a vaccine is developed to ensure the continued health for all.
**All Kay’s Bridal employees as well as members of their households are required to be in perfect health. In addition, employees will wear face masks, wash their hands frequently and use hand sanitizer.
**For the store premises, we are following all recommended cleaning protocols including deep cleaning the entire store, disinfecting all surfaces between each shopping group, as well as steaming all gowns after being tried on. In addition, we have inspected and/or cleaned our inventory of nearly 300 gowns to assure that they are all hygienic.
**Social distancing must be followed. We will allow no more than 2 appointments in the store at a time.
**Brides that are shopping for a gown may bring a maximum of 2 guests.
**Brides that have alteration appointments may bring one guest.
** We request that all guests be a member of the brides' household.
**All guests must remain in the assigned dressing/viewing area. Also, at this time, we cannot allow children under 18 years old to accompany the bridal shopping group.
**Upon entering the store, all members of the bride's group MUST wear a face mask. Kay’s Bridal has provided hand sanitizer at the store entrance. In addition each member of the group is requested to complete the COVID19 Questionnaire to comply with contact tracing.
**We ask that the bride make sure that all members of your group and their households are completely healthy, i.e. no cough, sneezing or elevated temperature. If we observe any of these signs, (even if caused by allergies) that person will be asked to wait outside.
**Our consultants are, and have always been, totally knowledgeable of our inventory and they are always mindful of the brides’ gown preferences. The consultant will assist the bride in selecting gowns fitting her style and size. A maximum of 6 gowns can be tried on. Additionally, to further protect our employees, when trying on gowns, one of the brides’ group will carefully help the bride into and out of the gowns. The consultant will zip, button, lace, clip, etc. the gown as necessary.
** When at all possible, we are giving brides with a wedding date in 2020 priority for shopping appointments. Also we will soon be offering limited Sunday appointments which we hope to start in June.
We understand that this is a long list of changes to preCOVID19 bridal shopping expectations. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this guideline, please feel free to contact us.
Kay’s Bridal is committed to finding the perfect wedding dress for every bride until we can resume our “OLD NORMAL” lives.
