FAQ's
Do I need an appointment to try on gowns?
We always appreciate advance appointments as this allows us to reserve
a fitting room and have staff available to assist you.
Saturday's are very busy so an appointment is required.
Call at least a week in advance for the best choice of times.
What gowns do you have in the store?
We have over 300 sample gowns in stock from the designers that we carry.
These gowns cover every style imaginable,
from sleek fitted to elegant ball gowns.
How long does it take to order a gown?
It takes a minimum of 14 to 20 weeks to order a gown (each designer has
a different shipping time). We recommend ordering your gown at least 8 months
before your wedding to allow time for tailoring.
Note: Kay’s Bridal has the unique service of storing your gown until
your wedding day, so ordering early is no problem.
Can I get a gown sooner than 3 to 4 months?
Most manufacturers offer a Rush Shipping, at an additional charge.
In addition, Kay's Bridal has internet access to the "hanging" inventory for several of our designers.
If the gown is in the warehouse, we can get it in a week to 10 days.
There is no additional charge when the gown is in stock.
What price range are the bridal gowns at Kay's Bridal?
Our gowns are in the moderate price range between $600 to $2000, with most
gowns in the $700 to $1800 range.
Also, we have a nice selection of discontinued gowns at half their original price.
What services are included when you purchase a gown from Kay's Bridal?
Kay's Bridal includes the following complimentary services with every special order gown.

when they arrive. The staff will thoroughly steam and inspect your gown
to make sure it is perfect.

A deluxe fabric zipped bag is included with every bridal gown.
Gown Storage
Kay's Bridal will store your ordered gown, at no cost, until you are ready for alterations.
There is no need to find a place for your gown at home and
chancing a pet accident or the groom peeking.
Final Steaming
Kay’s Bridal will do the final steaming/pressing of your gown
right before the wedding and have it “walk down the aisle ready”.
What is MSRP?
MSRP stands for Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price.
Designers established the MSRP and require retailers to uphold this as a minimum.
The pricing at Kay's Bridal is within the MSRP requirement,
What about alterations?
Alterations are most always needed on bridal gowns; therefore,
we recommend that you consider them as a part of your gown budget.
Kay's is the only shop in the area that has an alteration studio on site.
